Try hunting 3 Toadtauruses, which can be found in the Kurt Desert near the village, and then return to me. This kind of assignment is very basic for Temperions, so there's no need to feel nervous. Now hurry up, and go for it!

You did pretty well. You might not remember this, but a long time ago all of Ethergia once prospered under the Zudekha Civilization. Those blissful days ended when Thanatos, the Holy Xenon Empire's ultimate weapon, went berserk and ruined our world. The Zudekha Civilization was destroyed by Thanatos's mana explosion, which also released charged ions that mutated benign wildlife into bloodthirsty monsters. Those nasty creatures have grown into a bigger problem as more and more of them appear. And so, for some reason, you volunteered to become a Temperion to deal with them. Good luck and Thank you!
